I joined Firmenich on July 1, 2006. As a fresh graduate from the Ocean University of China, I was so excited to have the opportunity to work in research in such an international company : with over 5’900 employees in over 50 countries covering over 250 different job disciplines, we are able to offer our staff opportunities to fulfill their career goals.

In our company, we have three research centers around the world, located in Europe, America and Asia.  Our research center in China is the most recent one. From the very beginning, colleagues from the other two sites have brought their skills, experiences and knowledge to our research center in China. We work together with our common passion for understanding and discovering nature's unknown treasures. Exchanges of researchers between different sites aimed to globalize our research are carried on frequently in Firmenich, which provide an opportunity for me to learn in Geneva. The high level of science we practice at Firmenich, our open learning atmosphere and our passion for exchanging knowledge with people inside and outside the Company really motivate me.

As time passes in Firmenich, I understand more about our culture, which is characterized by our willingness to be open-minded, have a global view and to be diverse.
