Geneva, Switzerland, March 29th, 2017 Firmenich proudly announces that it has been named “Supply Chain Leader” across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) by the CDP. Taking the number one position in the DACH region, this award is testament to Firmenich’s excellence in carbon emissions management.

In 2017, for the third consecutive year, Firmenich ranked in the top 3% of “A List” companies on CDP’s Supply Chain Program among more than 4,300 companies identified as demonstrating a superior approach to climate change mitigation. To further advance the Group’s ambitious 2020 environmental goals, Firmenich was the first fragrance and flavor house to mobilize its key suppliers to disclose their climate and water performance data through CDP’s Supply Chain Program. Regarding water management, the Group was also one of the first organizations to join the CDP Water Disclosure Program, and in 2016 scored in the top 2% of the Supply Chain Water reporting companies attaining the Leadership A- level for its management of water risk, throughout its supply chain.
