As one of the world’s 36 United Nations Global Compact LEAD companies, we take action to advance the UN Ten Principles – starting with respecting human rights. Our priority areas are clearly identified and mapped against our value chain to understand where we can best address potential or adverse impact on human rights. Starting with our operations, we tackle areas such as health & safety, diversity & belonging through robust programs.
In our supply chain, we are advancing human rights through several tools such as EcoVadis, a platform collecting supplier data, and the Union for Ethical BioTrade principles, which we promote with our suppliers of natural ingredients through field audits. Building on our engagement with the UN Global Compact, we were the first company in our industry to sign the UN Global Compact Action Platform for Decent Work in Global Supply Chains in 2019.
