FIRMENICH APPOINTS AMAURY ROQUETTE VP SALES AND MARKETING, FINE FRAGRANCE EUROPE
Geneva, Switzerland, June 8, 2017 – Firmenich, the industry’s leader in Fine Fragrance is pleased to announce the appointment of Amaury Roquette as Vice President Sales and Marketing, Fine Fragrance Europe, effective July 1st, 2017. In this capacity, Amaury will engage Firmenich’s creative talent and unique expertise to enable winning experiences for the Group’s customers across Europe.

Amaury most recently held the position of VP Sales Ingredients at Firmenich, where he played an instrumental role in restoring the Ingredients Business Unit’s leadership, most recently evidenced by its pioneering bio-based molecules. Driven by his sharp business acumen and passion for Fine Fragrance, he is recognized for his responsible leadership committed to winning solutions with our customers for the long-term.
Amaury joined Firmenich a decade ago in the Strategy Team, where he supported a number of critical business development projects. He quickly moved into Ingredients, where he took on roles of increasing responsibility and played a central leadership role in the Group’s transformation. He expanded his leadership over the years to advance the global Ingredients’ commercial strategy with a focus on breakthrough innovation, creativity and long term value creation.
A French national, Amaury holds a BA from France and Mexico, an MBA from IMD and he held various positions at Deloitte, prior to joining Firmenich, particularly in emerging markets. He will be relocating from Geneva to Paris with his wife and three children.
Firmenich’s Fine Fragrance Team in Europe has a longstanding legacy of excellence, demonstrated through its award-winning creative talent. Last December, Nathalie Lorson was inducted into the Group’s prestigious circle of twelve Master Perfumers, building on her nomination as “Perfumer of the Year” in both Italy and France in 2015. Most recently, Fabrice Pellegrin was named “Perfumer of the Year 2017” by leading French trade magazine Cosmétique Mag in recognition of his leadership in Naturals as well as his many creative successes.
