Company Makes Multi-Million Dollar Investment in New Facility

Geneva, Switzerland, March 21, 2016 Confirming its unwavering commitment to customers, Firmenich is proud to announce the opening of its new, state-of-the-art plant today in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the presence of CEO Gilbert Ghostine, strategic partners and senior Firmenich executives. The new plant will serve more than 100 customers across 10 markets globally, significantly increasing Firmenich’s footprint in Argentina.

With this new facility, Firmenich aims to strengthen its market leadership in fragrances. For flavors, the objective is to drive growth through the company’s leading Taste Modulation portfolio TasteGEM™, which helps restore the taste profile of food and beverage products with reduced sugar, salt and fat. Firmenich’s TasteGEM™ portfolio is already manufactured in Argentina.
