Firmenich sources fine coffees from local traders who work closely with harvester cooperatives in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. By blending coffees of several different origins, our Black Ground achieves a rich and complex flavor profile.
The coffee cherries are collected daily by machine throughout the harvest season. The beans are then washed and dried before being sent to Firmenich for SFE extraction.
