Bruno De Siqueira is a Flavorist at Firmenich based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Having grown up in the city of Sao Paulo, his childhood and adult years were greatly inspired by the region’s traditional Portuguese flavors and locally-grown ingredients. His mother was a good cook, and he was there alongside her to prepare dishes with the best herbs and spices. His family served coxinha at every birthday party, and his dad would cut and freeze pieces of sugar cane for a frozen snack. In the summers they served caipirinha, the classic Brazilian beverage made with fermented sugarcane juice. To Bruno, this is the quintessential beach drink of Brazil.

Inspired by the red violet infused blue hue of the Pantone^® Color of the Year, Veri Peri, as well as the transformative energy of nature, Bruno looked toward the natural process of fermentation in dark fruits to inspire his Magical Botanical Illusion Flavor.He used pine notes, purple fig, chamomile, davana oil and sparkling coriander to effectively translate his love and inspiration of nature. The result is a complex flavor with a purple impression and a toothsome sweet and savory taste.
