Geneva, Switzerland, December 09, 2015 Firmenich appoints Jane Sinclair as General Counsel, effective February 1st 2016. She will report directly to Firmenich CEO, Gilbert Ghostine as a member of the Executive Committee. Based in Geneva, she will also act as Secretary to the Company’s Board. Jane joins Firmenich from AbbVie where her most recent role was Head of International Legal and Global Privacy. She succeeds Dominique Graz, who will be leaving Firmenich at the end of February 2016 to join a leading Swiss Law Firm.

Jane is an international corporate lawyer with significant experience in both emerging and mature markets across Asia and Europe in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors. Jane has lived and worked in Australia, Asia, Europe and the US. Prior to her role as Head of International Legal and Global Privacy, at AbbVie, she served as Senior Legal Counsel, Pacific, Asia & Africa-Australia and then Regional Legal Counsel, Europe France for Abbott Laboratories. Earlier in her career, she spent 17 years at The Coca-Cola Company where she held several senior legal positions. She is an Australian national and holds an M.B.A., in Business Administration and Management from Deakin University, Australia and a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.)/Asian Studies from The Australian National University.
