JASMINE SAMBAC CHINA ABS

Floral, green, animalic.

Chinese origin is sweeter, more fruity, but less green and orange flower. Methyl anthranylate provides an orange flower like effect on top, associated with a green and less indolic note than grandiflorum.

It is widely used in orange flower and pittosporum accords.

Sometimes called “the real Jasmine” and considered as the genuine Jasmine flower in a large number of Asian countries, Jasminum sambac is rich in benzyl alcohol, linalol, cis-3-hexenyl benzoate, and methyl anthranylate.

In India the majority of flowers is used for religious & decorative ornaments, while in China, it is mainly dedicated to tea: only 1% of the harvest is used for the Fragrance industry.

A primary extraction with volatile solvent on fresh or dry biomass yields to a Concrete or Resinoid.
The Absolute is obtained via a second purification step in the process.
