Olfactive description
The sharp greenness on top is reminiscent of hot chilies or pimento.
Evodia has natural papaya and mango aspects, green mandarin and herbal notes as well as an aromatic aspect which brings brightness in lavender compositions.
A powerful, fruity, green, aromatic ingredient, very intense, recalling Tagete, Petitgrain and Green fruits.
Perfumery usage
EVODIA EO can provide a Tagete effect.
Standard dosage:
- 0.05% (Home Care - Candle).
- 0.1% (Body Care - Shampoo).
- up to 0.2% (Fine Fragrance).
Process
Obtained by distillation of the biomass with water, or steam.
The essential oil is physically separated from the aqueous phase by decantation.
