Rose absolutes offer a variation of floral, spicy rose, more or less sweet, animalic or fruity according to origins.

Used in Fine Fragrance to gives a sweet floral rosy note.
Very complex and long-lasting.

A primary extraction with a volatile solvent on fresh or dry biomass yields to a Concrete or Resinoid.
The Absolute is obtained via a second purification step in the process.
