Olfactive description
A vibrant and robust green note, with scents of freshly cut grass and zesty citrus. Slightly aldehydic and minty.
Perfumery usage
It's employed in floral accords, colognes, and fougères to introduce a distinctive green and fruity note, infusing a sense of freshness. It adds a spring-like facet to floral notes. When combined with patchouli and vanilla, it creates a unique amber-like effect.
Process
Chemical synthesis corresponds to the construction of complex chemical compounds from simpler ones. Our R&D follows the principles of Green chemistry whenever possible.
History
Our green notes date back to the discovery of CIS-3-HEXENOL, in 1941. Following its success came many of its derivatives, along with many powerful green galbanum notes discovered in the 1970’s that play an imperative role in our heritage.
