Geneva, Switzerland, December 4, 2015 – Firmenich is proud to announce the creation of an exclusive, custom-made fragrance “Harmony,” inspired by the PANTONE® Color of the Year 2016, a blending of two hues, PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity and PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz.

Created by Firmenich’s award-winning perfumer Nathalie Lorson, “Harmony” is a delicate fragrance, built around three Firmenich specialties: a fresh petally Centifolia Rose, crystalline Musks and velvety Incense. This inspirational fragrance rounds out an exceptional year for Nathalie, who was named Perfumer of the Year in both France and Italy in 2015.

“For me, creation is all about expressing and sharing emotions. I search to build upon initial concepts, and my creativity comes from comparing and contrasting different sources of inspiration,” says Lorson. “This was particularly relevant when it came to developing Harmony as the scent needed to represent the merging of these two colors and simultaneously emit a sense of tranquility and ease.”

The fragrance represents a break from traditional gender codes and instead is an ode to freedom and weightlessness. A reminder to embrace the beauty of the present moment and the beauty within ourselves, Harmony embodies a mindset and a vision of inner peace, well-being and contentment.
