Firmenich and/or its affiliates shall handle Candidate Data in accordance with local law(s) applicable at the place where such Candidate Data are processed. Firmenich and/or its affiliates only utilize Candidate Data for legitimate human resources purposes. Such legitimate human resources purposes include, but are not limited to, identifying and/or evaluating candidates for Firmenich positions; making a decision regarding whether a candidate should be hired; maintaining appropriate hiring practice records; analyzing the hiring process and its outcome(s), and/or conducting background investigations, where permitted by law. Candidate Data shall not be shared with third parties.

Candidate Data is any identifiable information about you that you or someone else provides (on your or Firmenich behalf) in the context of applying for a position with Firmenich and/or its affiliates. Such Candidate Data is submitted through the Career section of this site and may include Personal Information. By submitting Candidate Data, you confirm and agree that (1) you have reviewed this Firmenich Privacy Statement; (2) Firmenich may process the Candidate Data according to the recruitment purposes set out in this Firmenich Privacy Statement and/or elsewhere on the Firmenich site, and (3) the Candidate Data may be transferred worldwide consistent with this Firmenich Privacy Statement and/or other provisions contained on the Firmenich site.

5. Careers
The Career section of the Firmenich web site allows you to provide us with personally identifiable information, which we will use for employment purpose and to evaluate the candidates’ applications for the openings positions. Firmenich may also use such Candidate Data to search for potential candidates for consideration in connection with jobs, which may or may not be listed on the career page. At any time after you have allowed your Candidate Data to be part of the Firmenich database, you are entitled to require, in writing or via the web site, that Firmenich and its affiliated entities stop using your personal data collected through this web site.
