Path2Farm™ collection
Building on the legacy of Naturals Together™, Path2Farm™ takes a step further in traceability by offering radical transparency of the Firmenich ingredients value chain. The “P2F” ingredients enrich the existing “Certified Origins” collection, part of the Naturals Together collections.
As of today, the digital solution has registered approximately 3,000 farmers and ensures complete traceability of three key resources: elemi in the Philippines, vanilla in Madagascar and jasmine in India.
As a fully transparent and living source of information, the Path2Farm™ solution will continue to grow by adding new farmers, sources and ingredients.
Philippines
Elemi
A tropical tree called Canarium luzinocum that stands 80 to 100 feet tall in the tropical forests. When its leaves sprout, the tree exudes a pale yellow resin known as Elemi that solidifies upon contact with the air.
Madagascar
Vanilla
Vanilla planifolia and Vanilla tahitensis are the two varieties of vanilla orchids that are processed by Firmenich. Vanilla planifolia from Madagascar is an iconic product kown as vanilla Bourbon. Extraction is done through the cured vanilla beans.
India
Jasmine
The Jasmine grandiflorum plant is cultivated in many countries worldwide. In India, Firmenich has a unique collaboration through Jasmine Concrete leader of Indian floral extracts, ensuring supply chain traceability.
