VETIVER SFE

Vetiver grows in many countries (Indonesia, India, Paraguay…) but the best quality comes from Les Cayes, South West of Haiti.
Firmenich is mainly sourcing its oil from this area from its Naturals Together™ partner. The small farmers cultivating, harvesting and replanting vetiver are organized in cooperatives.
Firmenich and its partner have been working together for a long time to improve access to health care and education. Firmenich is highly involved in the construction and the sustainability of a school since 2012. Firmenich supplier has also decided to provide free health care for member of cooperatives while we partnered with Essilor in 2015 for free eye-check and glasses distribution.
